Feed the Birds

In Primary 3 it is our responsibility to look after the bird feeders and feed the birds over the winter.

We started this term by doing an audit of the resources available and were sad when we discovered there was only one bird feeder left and a bird table.

What were we going to do? We decided that we needed a shopping list.

-         Seed for the birds

-         Nuts to fill the feeder

-         New bird feeders

When we asked about funding we found that there was no money available, so we are going to do some fund raising ourselves.   Watch out for that next term. We hope you will take part and support us, so we can support the birds over the winter.

In June 2009 the school achieved its third Eco-Schools green flag!
