FAST NEWS

MAY 2010

FAST Management Team

As you will have noticed the Adventure Path is under construction. The next phase to install all the equipment should happen in the next month. Finally there will be some creative planting to really add interest to the project.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make the Bridge of Allan 10K a fantastic success. Eve and Matt Kid, who organised the event, put in an incredible amount of effort, which showed. It raised over ₤650 for the school. The feedback from the runners has been great, with many people writing to say how much they enjoyed it.   We are sure that year on year it will build itself a great reputation, especially for those who like a challenge. Thanks also to the Running Company for their contribution and a big thank you to all the people who helped marshal and serve food and drinks. Thanks to all the sponsors as well.  Bella Black, FAST Chair, chair@fastonline.org.uk.

School grounds team

We hope you will by now have noticed our lovely new path - work was completed over the Easter break. The nursery has also gained more space for their outdoor play area and next to appear will be some play equipment for all the school to enjoy. We have lots of other exciting plans to improve the playground for play and learning for all of our children, so please do continue to support the Fundraising team in their efforts. This couldn't have been done without their hard work.

Next meeting Tuesday 18th May at 7pm.
