Finance Fortnight
P2P’s focus for Finance Fortnight was vending machines. We researched different types of vending machines and decided upon creating our own healthy vending machines.
First we measured, cut and stuck paper to all sides of our shoebox.
Then we measured and cut the lid of our shoebox to make shelves. This was quite tricky so we asked P7/6 to help us.
Next we planned which healthy snacks we wanted for our vending machines on whiteboards. Then we made them on card to stick on the shelves.
To finish the vending machines we made small tabs for the code and covered the front with cling film.
We used our vending machines to help us get better at calculating change. Our machines only accepted 10p 20p or 50p so we always had to give our friends change.
