MONEY WEEK

Our Money Week topic was the ‘Jam Jar’.  We looked at coins from different countries, we made pocket money saving plans and money boxes and we thought about why we need money.

During Money Week we did a ‘What does it cost?’ challenge.  In our shop you could buy a house for £2000, a car for £400, UGG boots for £2.99 and a football lunch bag for £25.

We all brought in money for the class Jam Jar.

Lots of other people brought in money for the Jam Jar as well.  We asked all the other classes, teachers, mums, dads, grans, granddads, aunties, uncles….

We talked about which charity to give the money to.

We counted the money as we collected it.

We decided to give our money to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

We raised £194!

Thank you to everyone who brought spare coins in.
