SCOTS SONGS WITH AMY
Here we are warming up for singing with Amy. She has been teaching us traditional Scots songs. We have had to learn what the words mean so that we understand what we are singing about.
April
As part of our Personal Search Programme of Study for RME we looked at how we can care for our environment.
We visited the Wildlife Walkabout in Autumn and revisited in Spring. Here we are on an exciting fact-finding visit. What a lot of changes there have been!
The new pathway makes it much easier for us to examine the plant and pond life without us disturbing them. The trees are heavily laden with blossom so we may be in for a good crop of apples and plums later in the year.
We tried to count the tadpoles but there were just too many and they wouldn’t stay still!
We would like to help keep the gardens tidy and help with the planting. It’s really exciting watching things grow.
ZAMBIA ACTIVITY DAY
At Stirling University, the PE students kept us fit and active with lots of fun activities.
Every year, the school raises money to buy equipment for the schools in Zambia which the students help at during their Summer holiday.
The rain stayed away, we had a super time and were exhausted by the time we walked all the way back to school.
Our class raised £115.50!
