We hope it will give you a flavour of the life and work of Bridge of Allan Primary School, but only by being part of our positive school climate and our genuinely caring school community, can you appreciate how central the children are to the effectiveness of the teaching and learning. Our school is not simply about delivering the curriculum, it’s about developing and enhancing pupils’ self esteem, about encouraging positive attitudes to learning, to be valuable contributors to our current and future society, to be responsible citizens and to ensure successful learning.
Fundamental to our educational philosophy at Bridge of Allan is the fostering of a positive, safe and productive working climate conducive to effective teaching and learning. This can be nurtured by a partnership between home and school, and a genuine commitment to effective communication. Confidence in our school will grow from a shared understanding of the life and work that is generated in our daily approach to engage children in challenging and active learning opportunities, and experience a broad range of educational and personal activities.
There is a dedicated and committed team of staff members working to create an interesting, motivating and productive learning environment for pupils.
